Bucket list

Most of my goals are simple. Some of them I know what I have to do to achieve them and others are still on the drawing board.  A few of my goals for this semester include my GPA goal of 3.5. That will be a challenge but what isn't in college? I want to join at least two clubs in the first semster. I already joined one club, the agronomy club and I have a few others in mind. I want to keep up with homework, I would like to have all of my assigned homework for the next week done before the weekend.
Over the next four years I want to go on at least 1 study abroad trip to somewhere in the world. I would like to have a good internship every summer. I want to keep my 3.5 GPA over my college career. I want to be president of a club. I want to take advantage of any opporunity that arises.
In the big picture I want to have a good job. Maybe have a business of my own. I would like to own a large peice of land a put a big log house up in the middle of it. I want to go to New Zealand in July when it is winter there and go snowmobiling. I would like to travel the world. My must see's would be Italy, Austrailia, and Iceland. It would be fun to sit down and talk to some of the most famous people in the world. Enjoy life and take time to smell the roses every once in while.

  1. I agree with the whole college thing. Trying to keep good grades and do extra clubs is a lot of work but it sounds like you have the ambition to achieve what you set your mind too.I have also always wanted to travel. Those places sound awesome. I hope your reach your goals for college and also the ones that may be in your future.

  2. Karl, we have a lot of similar goals. I too, would love to study abroad, get good grades, succeed in many internships, and land a leadership role in one of the clubs I join. I think all of those are achievable and will help take us farther in life than we imagine. They may seem like a lot of work now, but down the road they'll all pay off and allow us to have the rest of our lives go the way we've dreamed. Keep striving for your goals and never give up!

  3. I have sort of the same feeling that Felicia conveyed. Your goals are big, but you knew that when you made them. If you have the ambition to get where you want to go, I believe you can make it Karl!

  4. Karl, I agree with your college goals of getting a 3.5 GPA and joining clubs to not only get involved but possibly learn more also. Studying abroad is something I want to do also, because traveling has always been something I've enjoyed! I think it's great you have a goal of owning your own business and I'm sure you will be able to one day!

  5. I love that you just want to do everything you can! Taking whats right in front of you and not being scared or holding back is such a great goal to have for every part of your life. You're going to do big things with this perspective!
